Frequently asked questions

How do I know the amplifier failed and not the motor?

Send the alarm code with your unit. Many alarm numbers distinguish amplifier faults from feedback/motor faults, and our bench evaluation tests the amplifier independently — if your amp is healthy, you pay nothing and you've ruled out the expensive box.

Why free evaluation instead of a flat price on drives?

Drive damage varies enormously — a clean IPM swap and a board cooked end-to-end are different repairs. The honest model is a free bench evaluation and a firm quote you approve before any work. The typical ranges we publish come from real market data.

Do repaired drives need reprogramming?

Rarely. Servo parameters typically live in the CNC or in protected drive memory that repairs don't touch. Where a platform has exceptions (like Indramat firmware modules), we handle the module correctly and note anything your integrator should verify.
