Frequently asked questions

Why do you cap VFD repair at 25 HP?

Above ~25 HP, honestly validating a repair requires three-phase load-bank capacity. We publish the boundary instead of quietly under-testing big drives — the ceiling will move as the lab's test capacity grows.

Is a VFD repair reliable, or will it just fail again?

A proper repair replaces the actual wear items — IGBTs with new modules, the full DC bus capacitor bank, fans — not just the one part that died. That's why we can back repairs with a 24-month warranty.
