Frequently asked questions

PanelView Plus 6 is discontinued — can it really still be repaired?

Yes. Rockwell discontinued the PanelView Plus 6 line (September 2021) with no direct drop-in replacement, but the common failures — touch glass, backlight, power supply, boot faults — are all board-level repairs we perform daily. Repair is usually the only way to keep your exact configured terminal without a migration project.

Will my machine program survive the repair?

Yes. The runtime application lives in the terminal's internal flash or CF card, which the physical repairs never touch. Your screens, tags, and comms settings come back exactly as they left.

What if my unit can't be repaired?

You get the repair price refunded in full, minus return shipping. If the unit tests fully functional with no fault found, a $95 test-and-verify fee applies and the balance is refunded.

How fast is it?

Standard bench time is 3–5 business days once the unit arrives. Rush (1–2 business days) is +$149, and same/next-day emergency service is available — contact us first.
